As mentioned, I love water, snow and cycling the hills. I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for twenty years but decided to train as a 5 Elements Yoga instructor (200YTT) last year.
Bringing absolute beginners up to a level where they feel confident to join regular classes is really important to me; when you do yoga, you sort of want everyone else to get the benefit too.
I’ve really enjoyed building and teaching programmes for specific injuries, sports and also being able to work with experienced practitioners to fine tune their asanas and also help them achieve new poses eg headstand.
If you’d like to book a private lesson or a course, I’d love to hear from you.
“…Great practice, Louise, just the right balance of chuckle and challenge…” LH, Chichester
That was the best yoga class I’ve ever done – thank you!
It really was the loveliest yoga session – thank you so much.
Yoga was amazing yesterday. I need to get that headspace back in my life.
Very deep relaxation, thank you so much.
Thank you so much to LH for taking the time to summarise her experience of some of the classes we’ve done together through over the past year.
Louise has prepared an incredible variety of yoga experiences for me in the last year including:
A very patient, individual session sorting out some bad habits in transitions and an odd twist in my spine
A personalised yoga practice sent to me for use in my tiny Greek hotel room whilst working on a very stressful project for a few weeks
Simple video tutorial and advice to help me achieve my headstand lockdown challenge
Outdoor sunset Yin Yoga on Sundays with blissful guided Savasana to prepare for the week ahead
Focused intention setting especially the “unclench my jaw please” practice
Yoga Nidra on audio in my own bed to catch up on a long stretch of poor sleep
Zoom sessions during lockdown with a liberating dance release ( cameras off !)
Thoroughly enjoyed exploring so many different approaches to the challenges we have faced this year with Louise’s professionalism, kindness and humour.
